Meet Elizabeth

DOD Visionary & Founder

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after
that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 1 Peter
5:10

Elizabeth, spiritually known to some as “Overseer” and to others as “Mama Ward”, is a
servant leader from her very soul. She is a Pusher, a Motivator, a Promoter, and a
genuine Supporter of those whom God has allowed to cross her path.
She is a native of Greenville, North Carolina where she obtained her education through
the Pitt County School system. She is the mother of three amazing children and eight
grandchildren who affectionately call her “Nana” along with several spiritual sons and
daughters.
Elizabeth understands that ministry is forever a part of her life, so she pursued and
received a Master of Theology in Christian Counseling and a Doctor of Theology in
Leadership. She is actively involved in ministry at One Church of Goldsboro, where she
serves as Director of One Connect, a ministry that serves First Time Visitors and New
Members, under the guidance and tutelage of Pastors Nicholas and Kandi Worrell. She
also serves as a member of the Shepherd’s Care Team, the Ministerial Staff, and the
One Church Chorale, serving as the Administrator.
She is the founder and visionary of the Daughters of Divinity Ministry, also known as
D.O.D., a healing ministry assignment given to her by God to help fortify women in their
purpose and destiny in the kingdom, by acknowledging those things of the past, and
present, and things to come that hinders their spiritual growth. This ministry was
established in 2002 through the personal pain and suffering experiences that she once
suppressed and hid from the world. Elizabeth’s desire is to see all God’s people free
from bondage and help encourage them to utilize the gifts God has anointed them with.
In her spare time, she loves to read, crochet, and spend time with friends. She is an
outspoken individual with an outgoing personality who genuinely loves people. She
desires to be the example God has called her to be so that His light will shine, and
someone will seek a relationship with Him.

About DOD

What are Daughters of Divinity?
Women who have been adopted into the family of God through Christ,
striving to possess that “Godlike character”.
A sisterhood, a fellowship of nurturing, healing, and support to women from
all walks of life.
Through time and experience I have learned that it is possible in the church
world (Christendom) to experience rejection, alienation, and neglect.
Unfortunately, in the lives of many women emotional breakdown, spiritual
and physical burnout, and disappointment have been the product of many
earnest attempts to find our purpose or place in the church and in God.
Then there is the age-old issue of “a woman’s place in ministry”. Did God
really call women to minister, or to preach and even pastor congregations?
How many of you have found yourselves at the negative end of this issue?
Daughters of Divinity is a ministry designed to bring clarity, direction, hope,
and healing to those like myself who have met with difficulty in the pursuit
of belonging and purpose in the kingdom of God.
We pray that you find what you need through the ministry of the site.
In His Service,
Walking in Victory
